Packing itself requires lots of attention and care, but when it comes to packing easily breakable items like glassware, cups, plates etc, you should pay more attention while packing them in the box while moving. These breakable items are very sensitive and costly, and I am sure you don’t want them to get damaged during the move while shifting your home. Let me share some easy to follow tips for you to help you pack and move all those valuable breakable items.
- Get some bubble wrap, old newspaper, or breakable packing paper. Put it on the bottom of the cardboard box to create a soft layer.
- Get some old newspaper and tear it to make smaller peaces. Fill these scrambled newspapers into the glass, bowls, cups etc.
- Wrap one Item at a time well with bubble wrap or packing paper. If you don’t have bubble wrap or packing paper then you may use old newspapers instead.
- Once you have finished packing each of the items, then start placing them in the box. Put it straight if possible and fill the gap with papers.
- Now cover the box with some more paper and close it
- Seal the box properly with tape.
- Label each of the boxes to mention it has breakable items inside and to be handled carefully.
